The dual-room accommodation was perfect for intergenerational travel, offering a private landing for easy access between rooms-ideal for family dynamics. The breakfast was notably impressive, featuring a variety of freshly prepared options, particularly the full English, which was satisfying after a day spent exploring nearby sites like Mam Tor. Paul and Sarah, our hosts, displayed genuine warmth and extensive local knowledge, guiding us to great dining options. While the property boasts timeless charm, the amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and free toiletries, ensured our stay remained hassle-free. the proximity to Buxton's treasures, along with quick access to local hiking and cycling trails, adds to its appeal. The balance of price and offerings made the Hawthorn a logical choice for our family getaway.
